Luca Gasparini Italian Mountain Guide Skis Canada

In March 2011 Luca Gasparini, an Italian Mountain Guide from Livigno, Italy brought 4 clients for a week of ski touring at Campbell Icefield Chalet. It was an incredible week. With the help of local guides, Kirsten Knechtel and Bernie Schiesser the group skied the Bluewater Glacier, crossed the Campbell Icefield to climb up Prior Glacier, led two descents from the High Col, climbed East peak with spectacular views of the Icefield and almost climbed Mt. Alan Campbell. Luca and his Italian clients were a welcome addition to our team. Besides being an outstanding guide Luca was a very eloquent and funny Master of Ceremonies at our final night's dinner. The testimonial he gave to Leo Grillmair, co founder of Canadian Mountain Holidays, who at age 81 still tours and skis with the best of them, was very memorable. thank you Luca - you are welcome back anytime!
