Alex Bad Ass Lost-Found Vipond

Alex Vipond got the name "Lost and Found" Vipond because during our recent ski trip - he being on a snowboard and everyone else on skis - went missing 5 times during the trip. Cell phones were invaluable when they worked - we were usually reunited within an hour. It was a joyful occasion to have Alex back skiing with us. He himself added the descriptor "Bad Ass" - perhaps thinking it would help publicize these photos better. So there you are - the Alex Bad Ass Lost & Found Vipond photo album.

We skied Big White in Kelowna, Silver Star in Vernon .... then took the Arrow Lakes route via Nakusp to Revelstoke to ski Mt. MacKenzie the biggest vertical drop in North America. Participants: Bruce & Therese Roberts and Susanne Ross from Vernon B.C.; Alex & Ross Vipond from Burlington ON and Bruce Dempster from Meaford ON.

Highlight of the week: Looking for Alex’s lost luggage, calling Air Canada and being transferred to a call center in India …. And having that person tell me …. Why don’t you just go to your front door an open it. I did just that - and there was the lost bag!
