  • Two hours into the trip we decided to stay at the Massenlager perched on the edge of the ridge with a view down into the Rhine Valley. The cost was $6.00 per person including breakfast

  • Next day continued along the ridge with clouds moving in and out. In the mist we stumbled across a mountain goats

  • We had lunch and enjoyed our first views into the spectacular Kreuzberg cliffs. We dropped down to the Saxerlucke Pass and then climbed up the pass beside the Kreuzerberg
  • At the top of the ridge a herd of cows followed us almost down to the Alpine Club Hut
