  • looking for "faith healers" with Madame Ruby!
  • Siquijor iswell-known for primitive healing rituals where incantations are sung while the old folks make potions out of herbs, roots, insects and tree barks.
  • Later we found our car hand been stolen in Manila!
  • Our first stop .... the locals were doing Kareoke and drinking beer at 9 AM
  • This patient in sick bay turned to "faith healers" as a last resort.
  • Therese was cleansed first by the "faith healer" blowing air into the glass of water.
  • My turn was next - I waited with apprehension.
  • My treatment took longer .....
  • the water was dark brown in the glass after only a few minutes.
  • Madame Ruby observes .... the assistant Noel .... far left .... is immigrating soon to Canada ..... that visa should be reviewed ....
  • I looked for comfort from the other older women
  • Madame Ruby posed for photos ... declaring the treatment a success!

  • She ran up a large bill ... without any intention of paying
  • Police apprehended her the next day and she is still in jail .... her entourage went free .... but without their luggage - seized by the hotel.<br /> <br /> END of STORY!
